Barbie 2023: Official Movie Soundtrack line-up confirmed including Ryan Gosling, Dua Lipa & Lizzo

It’s Barbie’s world, and we’re just living in it. Ahead of the highly-anticipated Greta Gerwig directed movie ‘Barbie’, we finally have a confirmed line-up for who will feature on the soundtrack for the film.

It’s sad news for those who were hoping to see ‘Barbie Girl’ by Aqua on the tracklist. However, as expected the soundtrack has an all-star line-up of some of the biggest hit making singers in the industry at the moment. It also came with many surprises as it revealed that Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken to Margot Robbie’s Barbie, has his very own song on the soundtrack.

Rolling Stone exclusively revealed that ‘BARBIE: THE ALBUM’ will feature Ava Max, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, Fifty Fifty, Gayle, HAIM, Ice Spice, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress, Ryan Gosling, Tame Impala, and The Kid Laroi.

There were multiple rumours around who would feature on the soundtrack, with many expecting Taylor Swift to appear. And while Swifties may be disappointed now they know All Too Well that the Mastermind always has something up her sleeve, so may still appear.

Additionally, Rolling Stone confirmed that the line-up released today isn’t complete and that more artists will be announced as the album’s release date draws near. The project will be executively produced by Mark Ronson, who collaborated with Lipa on the platinum-certified “Electricity” as one half of the electronic duo Silk City.

The first single from the soundtrack will be ‘Dance The Night’ sung by Dua Lipa, who plays Mermaid Barbie in the film. ‘Dance The Night’ was teased to fans earlier this week, when a clip featuring a funky beat dropped online.

The single is set to be released tonight (May 25) after the release of the latest global trailer for the film. The full Barbie movie soundtrack is scheduled for release on July 21, the same day the movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling is set to arrive in cinemas worldwide.
