Fan verdict video: Hugo Lloris’ Tottenham career ‘turning point’ identified as replacement emerges
If Tottenham are to say goodbye to captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this summer, how will he be remembered?
The French World Cup winner has been a terrific servant for the club during his ten year spell since arriving from Lyon on deadline day in August 2012. He’s saved Spurs countless times with his incredible reflexes, but has become more error-prone in recent seasons and is widely tipped to leave in the close-season.
Spurs fan James Trembath believes Lloris has been a ‘legend’ for Tottenham and looks back at some of his career highlights, while identifying one key game that he feels might have contributed towards his drop in form. He also discusses his final game, which could well be that 6-1 hammering at Newcastle - a sad way to end his legacy.
