Video: ‘We have the quality’ - verdict on Tottenham v AC Milan as key Italian dangerman identified

Tottenham go into tomorrow’s crunch second leg Champions League round of 16 tie against AC Milan on the back of two defeats - but with the bonus of having Antonio Conte back in the dugout.

The manager has been recovering from surgery in Italy and could only watch on from his home as Spurs crashed out of the FA Cup at Sheffield United and then lost 1-0 at Wolves on Saturday in the Premier League.

Spurs fan James Trembath believes the side has the quality to overturn the 1-0 first leg deficit but admits the game favours the away side who can sit in and “hold what they have”.

James spoke to LTV’s Daniel Wales before the Wolves game to preview the contest. After Saturday’s display he added: “There were definitely some green shoots in terms of attacking intent, particularly in the first half. But we faded badly after half time and didn’t make changes quick enough to react in my opinion.”
