Energy bills: how to save money and what to do if you’re struggling to pay
Households have been urged to take and submit their energy meter readings ahead of the October price hike. Doing so will prevent firms from estimating usage and charging for energy used before 1 October but at the higher rate.
Here we look at some tips to save on your bills and where to get help if you’re struggling with the spiralling costs.
