Watch: Shocking moment prisoner tries to stab officer in neck

This was the dramatic moment a prisoner lunged at a prison officer with a knife to try and kill him.

Kevin Jones, 41, has been convicted of attempted murder after he attacked the guard at HMP Bullingdon near Bicester.

A court heard that at around 10.10am on 17 July 2021, the victim, a male prison officer, who was then aged 28, was escorting another prisoner to his cell on the Blackthorn Unit.

Jones was a prisoner on the unit at this time, and had a pre-existing grudge against the officer.
