Exact final date it's acceptable to sit in pub garden - depending on where you are in the UK

Many Brits have been soaking up the extended summer that Mother Nature has sprung on us. But experts are warning to make that count if they love beer gardens.

With a second summer now in session, many Brits may be shelving autumnal plans in favour of British summer pastimes like the beer garden, but experts as Spin&Shake Mobile Bartenders are warning Brits to make the most of the warmer temperatures whilst they can as the final ‘beer garden weather’ days close in.

Mixologist and owner of Spin&Shake mobile bars, Bryan Levato, has used his decades of experience in hospitality as well as crunching weather data from the Met Office to reveal when Brits stop using beer gardens and head for indoor bars instead.

For Brits in Cardiff, Edinburgh and and Cardiff, this weekend sees the final weekend dates.

Bryan Levato of Spin&Shake advised “Most people start to request tables indoors around the 16 degree mark, meaning we can officially define the end of beer garden season as the last day when it reaches 17 degrees.

For some, however, it’s simply a time to dig out the big coat, or search for outdoor spaces with heaters, or covered space such as outdoor bars inside a tipi.

Many see the end of Beer garden weather as a sad moment, but British pubs and bars are an all-year round institution, and British venues really come into their own in Autumn and winter. Roasts, live music, roaring fire and a warming mulled wine, or negroni.”
