Scarborough Roman villa: incredible aerial shots show stately home uncovered in ‘world first’
Excavations at a Scarborough housing development unearthed a “high status” Roman villa, which experts say could be the first example to be uncovered in the whole of the old Roman Empire.
The large complex of buildings discovered by archaeologists, which was revealed last week, has never previously been found in Britain.
These incredible pictures show off the astounding discovery in Eastfield.
