A-list celebrities may have spent lavishly this Christmas, but there are some stars closer to home who have done the exact opposite. Stacey Soloman is one such television personality who has done exactly that.

Stacey recently took to her Instagram to share how she made her daughter Rose’s Christmas present ( a miniature dressing table) this year. “I decided to make Rose’s Christmas present this year and I’m so proud of it,” she said. “She’s obsessed with my make up, brushes and sitting at my dressing table pulling the drawers out and looking at everything.”

Stacey’s finished miniature dressing table is very impressive and she has received many comments so far from fellow celebrities and fans alike. Former Big Brother star Kate Lawler said: “Stace this is adorable and if I knew I wouldn’t harm myself I’d make one,” followed by a crying emoji and a heart emoji.

One other notable star who commented on Stacey’s Instagram was her very good friend and the DIY Queen herself, Mrs Hinch. “How so so special is this,” she said. Stacey was quick to respond with “@mrshinchhome aw love u.. Now next time I come over if I don’t get cheese on cheese on crumpets I’m going home,” which she followed with three crying emojis.

Mrs Hinch, who has 4.6m followers on her Instagram, also took to social media recently to share a DIY present idea. She demonstrated how to create DIY personalised Sweetie Letters, perfect in case you have forgotten about some little ones who are coming over for Christmas.

Stacey Soloman and Mrs Hinch recently joined forces to film in Wales for the last episode in Stacey’s upcoming series of her BBC show Sort Your Life Out.
