Once you start scrolling on TikTok, you just can’t seem to stop for hours, after being drawn in by the short-form videos perfectly suited to your likes and viewing habits, whether it be Sofia Richie’s wedding or funny cat videos.
If you have some self-control and can wrench your eyes away from the little screen or even if you give into the temptation to forget about the outside world and stay in the comfortable social media app, you may have heard of Charli D’Amelio - TikTok’s number one girl.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Charli was a competitive dancer so her technique and musical ability helped her attract millions of views on the social media platform, gaining five million followers within five months of her initial dance duet.
As Covid-19 struck, Charli’s popularity grew further and she became the number one followed account on the app while her older sister Dixie also attracted a substantial audience.
At the time of writing, Charli has 150.5 million followers making her the second most-followed overall account behind Khaby Lame, but the highest-followed female (echoing the battle between Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner for most followers on Instagram and Twitter).

Other notable achievements include Charli taking part and winning season 31 of Dancing With the Stars, co-hosting the 2023 Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards, and being the highest-earning personality on TikTok in 2022, according to Forbes.

As with any star in the public eye, Charli’s relationships have been followed on social media including her one-year romance with TikToker LilHuddy, real name Chase Hudson, from December 2019 to April 2020.
The pair met while living in the ‘Hype House’ together but broke up after cheating allegations circled the internet.

While they first sparked romance rumours in June of last year when they were spotted leaving a concert together, they made their relationship Instagram official one month later, which was initially met by drama as Landon was close friends with Charli’s ex Chase.
Landon and Chase appeared in Machine Gun Kelly’s film Downfalls High together and were both in attendance at Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding to Travis Barker in Italy, but posts of the friends at the event have since been deleted.
Despite the initial feud, Charli spoke about her happiness with Landon stating: “He’s just very sweet…I think for a long time it was really difficult but now I kind of live life first and think about what people are going to say after.”
