Dara Huang was engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi before he married King Charles’s niece, Princess Beatrice. She is the mother of their six year old son, Christopher Woolf Mapeli Mozzi, or ‘Wolfie’ as he is known.
The architect, who was born and grew up in the States, reportedly said online that she is glad her son with Edoardo is being educated in the UK. “I can sleep at night knowing he won’t die at his desk tomorrow morning.”

Hide AdDara, whose maternal grandfather emigrated from Taiwan to the States, was granted British citizenship earlier this year. She describes herself on her instagram as a ‘mom’ ‘ architect’ ‘designer’ ‘entrepreneur’ and TV personality.
Dara is also the founder of Design Hause Liberty, an architecture and interiors company and Dara Maison, which she describes as ‘designer,’ ‘lux’ ‘affordable’ and ‘stain proof.’ She recently appeared in Channel 4’s property programme ‘Britain’s Most Expensive Houses.
Before marrying Princess Beatrice, Edoardo was reportedly engaged for three and half years to Dara before splitting from her in 2018. The couple share custody of their son together. A year later, he proposed to Princess Beatrice.
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo married in the pandemic so had a small low-key ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor on July 17, 2020. Edoardo’s son Wolfie was ‘best man’ and both the late Queen and Prince Philip attended.

Hide AdIn September last year, Princess Beatrice gave birth to a baby girl, Sienna, who became the late Queen’s 12th great-grandchild.
Although Dara grew up in the States, she has spent the last few years in London. On her Instagram, she shared a photograph of herself in March with the caption: ‘“What does an immigrant look like?” She then went on to describe her family’s difficult upbringing. “My mother was an immigrant of war, leaving everything she had to flee to Taiwan. My father was the only child of 7 who could afford to be educated.”
Dara then went on to say “I am an immigrant of the United Kingdom. The values of working hard, appreciating opportunity, not taking things for granted and fighting for better life were the values that I was taught….”
Dara is reported to have found love again with London based financier, Filippos Kodellas de la Morena.
