PeopleWorld’s Benjamin Jackson was right to say yesterday that Elon Musk is not one to miss out on putting his own two pence into crisis situations as seen by the Tesla CEO suggesting he could help the school children who were trapped in a cave in Thailand or extend his Starlink services to those in Ukraine.

However, while he remained unusually quiet about his SpaceX’s Starlink services in whether they were used by the missing Titanic submarine by only replying to comments on social media dismissing the idea that it could be used to help find the vessel, Mr Musk has been incredibly vocal about his plans to fight Mark Zuckerberg.

In a case of Twitter versus Meta CEOs, Elon tweeted that he would be ‘up for a cage fight’ against Zuckerberg if the latter agreed to a match.

A day later, the Facebook chief executive took to his Instagram stories to share a screenshot of Elon’s tweet with the response, “Send me location.” Elon replied to Zuckerberg stating that they could face off against one another in Las Vegas’ Octagon where the Ultimate Fighting Championships are often held.

As social media users began to share their excitement about a potential cage match between two of the world’s richest men, (Elon at $233.8 billion, Mark at $100 billion), some began to hypothesise what the event would look like with suggestions including Joe Rogan as referee and what each competitor could bring to the ring.

The South African-born entrepreneur quipped on Twitter that although he does not work out explicitly, just ‘picking my kids up and throwing them in the air,’ he does have a special fighting move branded ‘the walrus’ as he simply lays on his opponent.

Therefore, with Elon bringing his quick wit and ‘the walrus’ to Las Vegas, what could Mark Zuckerberg show off in the Octagon, if the fight were to go ahead?

If Mark were to take the bait, he would be very prepared to go head to head as he recently won a gold and silver at his very first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament after entering two of the master white belt feather weight categories.

Mark picked up what he described as ‘primal’ martial arts training during the pandemic to ‘help boost his energy and focus at work.’

The Meta CEO’s trainer said: “Getting to see Zuck compete was pretty epic. No match was easy and everything was earned. It was an honour to be able to help coach and offer any advice I could.”

So, in one corner of the enclosed ring we have Mark Zuckerberg Jiu-Jitsu champion standing at 5’8, and in the other we have the sharp-tongued Elon Musk at 6’2 - pick your fighter.
