Could Hailey Bieber’s fear of having a child in the public eye be alleviated by how these A-Listers cope?

Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber have been married for five years and anyone who gets married will know that as soon as you tie the knot the question everyone asks is when are you having kids.

In an interview with the Sunday Times the model opened up and revealed the heart breaking reason why the couple haven’t had children yet. Hailey explained “I literally cry about this all the time! I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”

It’s no surprise that Hailey would be extremely concerned over negative comments. The Rhode founder in the past year Hailey shared that it has been the toughest one in her entire life after facing huge backlash from Selena Gomez fans.

The ongoing feud between them got to the point that Hailey had to reach out to Selena to ask for her help and ask her fans to stop sending her death threats. And all that was over a video about eyebrows!

It saddens me that Mrs Bieber feels she has to put her life plans on hold just because of other people's opinions and the ‘mom shaming’ comments from people who [usually] don’t even have kids themselves.

The model isn’t the only celebrity to feel like this. There are many Hollywood stars that have had children and successfully kept them out of the public eyes and for good reason.

Gigi Hadid and ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik may share cute snaps of their daughter online but you will never see her face. In an Instagram post the Next in Fashion host said “Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age, and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen."

When a photographer trespassed on actress Halle Bailey’s property in order to get a snap of her child she released a statement. It read “I have long since come to terms with the fact that choosing a career as an actress has made me a public figure, but my baby has made no such choice, and unless and until she does, I will do everything I can...to keep her out of the public eye."

Halle and actress Jennifer Garner went to the extreme to protect their kids by supporting a bill that would penalise photographers for taking photos of children without the parent's consent. Jennifer explained that she chose a public life but her kids didn’t. In 2013 that bill was made into a law.

As a parent myself I don’t share images of my child not because I think I am a celebrity and fear being trolled but for the safety aspect of it. People forget that when they share something online it goes out to the world whether your account is private or not.

I just hope Hailey and Justin can focus on what’s really important and if having a family is something they want then no one should make them feel so scared that they feel they would be better off without.
