Hide AdAs of this morning, there had been no confirmation if Harry would be accepting the invitation, as the Duke of Sussex has been said to be returning to Montecito, California straight away to attend the fourth birthday of his son, Prince Archie.
However, should Harry accept the rumoured invitation to return back to the Palace, could this set up the potential of King Charles III breaking a royal tradition and allowing a non-working royal, albeit his son, an opportunity to join the Royal family on the balcony for the hallowed picture opportunity? More importantly, if he does accept the invitation, could this also be a cease-fire between the ongoing saga between brothers Prince William and Harry, Duke of Sussex?
The list of Royal family members that will be appearing on the balcony later today is currently listed as follows:
- King Charles III and Queen Camilla
- Prince of Wales, Princess of Wales - Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, Prince Louis, 5
- Princess Anne and Tim Laurence
- Prince Edward and Sophie
- Duke and Duchess of Gloucester (Duke is the most senior male-line descendant of Queen Victoria and her husband Albert, Prince Consort. He was first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II)
- Duke of Kent, 87 & his sister Princess Alexandra, 86
This is a breaking story - more information to be provided as and when it follows.
