A look at who is Irina Shayk as it appears she is ‘dating’ Tom Brady and not Kim Kardashian

Irina Shayk and Tom Brady appeared to confirm romance rumours after the pair were spotted together in his car. 

The NFL star split from ex-wife of 13 years, model Gisele Bündchen, in October 2022; the pair share two children Benjamin and Vivien. Since the split, he has been linked to model Emily Ratajkowski and Kim Kardashian after they were seen chatting at Michael Rubin’s White Party. 

Tom seemingly squashed those rumours after he was seen with the model. According to the Daily Mail a source confirmed Tom and Irina are ‘dating’ although the relationship is said to be in its ‘early days’. The quarterback reportedly collected Irina from her hotel and returned to his house once more.

Who is Irina Shayk?

Irina Shaky is a 37-year-old Russian model and television personality. She was born in the Soviet Union to parents a coal miner father, Valery Shaykhlislamov and a mother Olga who was a kindergarten music teacher. Irina learned to play the piano at the age of six and studied at a music school for several years. Her father sadly died when she was 14 due to Pneumonia complications. 

What is Irina Shayk famous for? 

In 2007 Irina replaced  Ana Beatriz Barros as the face of the Italian clothing brand Intimissimi that same year she was featured in Sports Illustrated. But she gained international recognition when she was the first model to appear on the front cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimwear Issue in 2011. 

She has since become a huge name in the modelling industry featuring in campaigns for Armani Exchange, Guess and Victoria’s Secret. As well as walking the catwalk for some of the biggest names in fashion including; Marc Jacobs, Chanel, and Schiaparelli. She briefly stepped into acting starring alongside Dwayne Johnson in Hercules (2014). 

Who has Irina Shayk dated? 

The model has had a few high-profile relationships; she reportedly dated Linkin Park drummer Rob Bourdon from 2007-2009 although they kept their relationship out of the public eye and neither have ever spoken out about the romance. 

Irina reportedly met Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo on the set of an Armani ad campaign in 2009.  Despite usually being very quiet about her private life Irina seemed to be happy to flaunt her relationship with the footballer - we can’t think why.

The couple often posted images together enjoying lavish holidays, attending events together and even posed together for the front cover of Vogue Spain. A rep for the model confirmed the pair had split due to the relationship fizzling out - however, there were rumours of infidelity on Cristiano's part. The professional footballer, currently playing in the Saudi League, moved on with Georgina Rodríguez a year later. 

Irina began dating Hollywood actor Bradly Cooper in 2015 shortly after he split from model Suki Waterhouse. Two years after dating the couple welcomed their daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper. The couple were rumoured to be growing apart in 2018 due to Bradley working and starring in the movie “A Star is Born” alongside Lady Gaga. 

Bradley and Gaga sparked rumours of a relationship when they performed an intimate edition of “Shallow” at the 2019 Oscars - whilst Irina sat in the audience. Rumours were squashed with Gaga saying “They were simply acting love-up because they were performing a love song.” Irina was actually one of the first people in the audience to get up for the standing ovation. However, Bradley and Irina split less than six months later.
