Are fans getting fed up with the Kardashians reality TV? Kourtney Kardashian says ‘it would be nice’ to retire

Love them or hate them but the Kardashians have built a career from millions of us watching them on TV. But after 16 years are fans getting 'bored’ the Kardashians? And as Kourtney Kardashian (Barker) admits ‘it would be nice’ to retire could this be the end for the reality show? 

Keeping up with the Kardashian’s aired for 14 years before the family called it a day, leaving fans devastated that there would be no more.

Then after just six months the family delighted viewers, by announcing they would return with a ‘new’ reality series and launched The Kardashians.

We are already two seasons in with a third on its way but it would appear that the fans are fed up with the whole charade. 

Kourtney appeared live on TikTok answering ‘mean comments’ from social media users. One of the tweets said: “Can the Kardashian’s just retire?” to which the eldest of the sisters quipped “That would be nice”. It’s not the first time Kourtney has admitted that she would like to leave the show.

The Poosh founder has in the past said she wanted to walk away to spend more time with family and in an interview with Variety Kourtney explained: “I don't think I see myself filming on a show in five years. I would probably envision myself, like, just living.”

Fans of the show that have loved the series for all of these years now seem to be switching off.

One social media user described the show as ‘so boring’. Another admitted it was a ‘chore’ to watch with a third adding that the show was like ‘watching a press release.’ 

However, according to Variety Kourtney makes an estimated $7.5 million to $8.3 million per season on The Kardashians. It reported that the Kardashian-Jenner's receive at least $100 million for two seasons and 40 episodes of The Kardashians. So we don’t think Kourt or the rest of them will be leaving the show anytime soon.
