Kate Middleton stepped out in a vibrant emerald green dress by Suzannah London to the Anna Freud Centre in London today, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. Whilst she was there, she joined a series of roundtable discussions about the challenges young people face today when it comes to their mental health.
She accessorised her Suzannah London dress with Alessandra Rich shoes and Accessorize earrings, which reportedly cost £8. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the brand Suzannah London, it was created by Suzannah Crabb. According to her website, “She has always been enchanted by the classic looks of the last 100 years (she must be a kindred spirit of mine!). That’s why, when she set up Suzannah London, she made it her mission to reimagine those timeless fashions through flattering modern cuts and sublimely tactile fabrics.”

Hide AdI have been familiar with Suzannah London designs for many years because when I worked as a bridal magazine editor, many brides and mothers of the bride went to Suzannah for bespoke dresses. Her designs are without question perfect for the royal family because of their timeless elegance and quality. They are not ‘too fashion’ and are just incredibly chic
It is no wonder then that the Princess of Wales is a fan of Suzannah London and has worn the brand before. In 2019, she wore a Suzannah London ‘Flipple Wiggle’ white crepe button-up dress to Wimbledon and in 2014, wore a tea dress by the brand for Prince George’s first birthday portraits.
It is clearly a family affair where Suzannah London is concerned as her sister Pippa Middleton, now Pippa Matthews, wore one of her dresses to the christening of Prince George.
However, one member of the royal family who seems even more of a fan of Suzannah London than the Princess of Wales is the Duchess of Edinburgh. Sophie Duchess of Edinburgh wore a Suzannah London bespoke cream dress to King Charles’s coronation and Suzannah is believed to have taken inspiration from London-based ceramic artist Rachel Dein when it came to the floral embroidery for the dress.

Without question, Lady Louise’s Kumiko Iris Silk Dress by Suzannah London was nothing short of a triumph and I would even go as far as to say that this is by far Lady Louise’s best outfit to date.
