Will Kate Middleton’s Easter Catherine Walker outfit be her choice of designer for the coronation?
People in this article

Although I might be wrong, I think it is highly likely that Kate Middleton opts for either Alexander McQueen or Catherine Walker for the coronation on May 6. Perhaps her Easter Sunday choice outfit of a recycled Catherine Walker coat dress might be an indication that she is set to wear the label again for the coronation?
If Kate Middleton does decide to wear Catherine Walker to the coronation, it will undoubtedly be a nod to her later mother in law, Princess Diana, who wore the label on many occasions. According to Vogue, Princess Diana’s “favourite brands reveals like a roll call of the British fashion industry’s leading lights at the time: Catherine Walker (today a staple of the Duchess of Cambridge’s, now the Princess of Wales’s wardrobe), Belville Sassoon, Victor Edelstein and Donald Campbell.

Before PeopleWorld looks back at some of Kate Middleton’s stand out Catherine Walker outfits, let’s discuss Princess Charlotte and what she might wear for the coronation.
Princess Charlotte wore a very pretty £65 blue floral Rachel Riley dress for the Easter Sunday service. Blue was clearly the order of the day as her mother, Kate Middleton and the soon to be Queen Camilla were all dressed in the colour.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Rachel Riley, I am referring to the children’s fashion brand, rather than the countdown presenter Rachel Riley. The brand, which has been going for over 25 years, is used to dressing royalty. According to its website, the founder Rachel “created her brand in 1998 when her children were young, making clothes for family and friends using her expertise in sewing, knitting and pattern-cutting.
Rachel Riley’s smocked dresses and luxury boyswear are loved by the likes of not only Princess Charlotte but by Prince George and Harper Beckham, the daughter of Victoria and David. You can buy her designs online, in stores such as Harrods and they also have a store in London’s Marylebone.
Now back to Kate Middleton and the pick of her best Catherine Walker outfits…
