As Kate Middleton steps out in Reiss, was this a deliberate choice ahead of her wedding anniversary?

With only days to go until Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding anniversary on April 29, It may have just been a coincidence she opted to wear the same high street label she chose for her engagement photographs. However, here at PeopleWorld, we like to think it was a deliberate choice by the Princess of Wales.
Cast your mind back to 2010 (yes, I know it seems a long time ago) when Kate posed for her formal engagement photographs with Prince William (that were incidentally shot by world renowned photographer Mario Testino). She wore the white ‘Nanette’ dress by Reiss. As expected the style sold out immediately, but the ‘white’ version was re-released in the following year, but only in the US.

Fast forward to 2023, and the ‘Kate Middleton effect’ has no sign of abating. On the contrary, her fashion style is slavishly followed by many and there are more than a few social media accounts dedicated to her looks.
When it comes to her Reiss blazer that she wore to the baby bank in Windsor, Kate has previously worn it on two separate occasions. The first is when she visited RAF Brize Norton in 2021 and the second is when she went to visit the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) headquarters in 2022.
Kate Middleton is clearly a huge fan of the high street label as not only has she worn the Reiss blazer before, but has also worn dresses and coats from the brand. During the early years of her marriage, Kate Middleton was frequently wearing outfits from Reiss, and this might be because she often wore clothes from there even before she wed Prince William.

It would seem that Kate Middleton’s mother Carole also shares her penchant for Reiss. She was spotted in the ‘Trina’ dress which Kate also wore in an Instagram video in 2021 to deliver results from her "4 Big Questions on the Under Fives" survey. Kate had also worn the dress back in 2012.
In 2011, Kate also chose a Reiss dress to wear to the Epsom Derby. She wore a Joseph coat over it and accessorised her look with a clutch by L.K. Bennet. More recently, Kate wore ‘Ginnie’ trousers by Reiss when she was on a tour of Scotland with Prince William in 2021.
Perhaps Kate Middleton will wear Reiss again on Saturday 29th April 2023 when she and Prince William will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary? However, it is likely that that they will celebrate the occasion privately, so we won't get to see her outfit.
