Although Prince William and Princess Catherine have a very hands-on approach to parenting their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, the couple may have their hands slightly too full when celebrating King Charles’ Coronation on 6 May.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were seen arriving at Westminster Abbey with all three of their children, even though doubts were previously raised about the attendance of their youngest Prince Louis, who turned five earlier this month.

However, all questions were answered this week concerning Prince Louis’ appearance as he was spotted at rehearsals with his family and walked hand in hand with Princess Charlotte down the aisle at Westminster Abbey.

The potential concern comes after Prince Louis’ somewhat iconic tomfoolery at last year’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations where he was not only snapped covering his ears during the flypast but also seen messing around in the pageant.

For King Charles’ Coronation, to avoid a repeat of Prince Louis ‘stealing the show’, some preparations have been made with the young Prince set to ‘retire from the two hour ceremony’.

While Prince William and Kate Middleton remain in the Abbey, it is more than likely that the job of looking after Prince Louis will fall to his nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, who has been with the family for nearly a decade.

Maria has been tasked with taking care of the three children since Prince George, now 9-years-old, was just eight months. The Spanish nanny lived with the family at their Kensington Palace home but is thought to have sought a different residence when Prince William moved his family to the four-bedroom home of Adelaide Cottage.

It was revealed that throughout her years nannying, Maria has taught the children Spanish. In addition to having nine years of experience with the Wales children, Maria studied at UK’s prestigious Norland College and has trained in responding to security threats - a crucial education as part of the heir to King Charles’ family.

Since leaving Norland College, Maria has since been seen in the uniform consisting of a brown dress and bowler hat, when she attended Princess Charlotte’s christening in 2015.

Some have drawn comparisons between nanny Maria and Mary Poppins (Maria Poppins maybe?) as she has been seen at key events through the years including Trooping of the Colour and notably Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle, where she was tasked to keep the children on their best behaviour.

A source previously told People: “Maria loves the children dearly. She can be firm and strict, but she is very soft and loving with them too.”
