Kendall Jenner faces backlash from fans after wearing controversial Toy Story costume for Halloween

Kendall Jenner took to social media to share her Toy Story inspired costume for Halloween, but immediately received a backlash from fans.

Kendall dressed up as cowgirl Jessie from the Pixar film franchise, and wore an ultra-cropped top with cow print chaps over very short denim hot pants in one of the photographs she shared.

Although some fans were approving, many made it clear that the Toy Story audience was aimed at a young audience. “Why sexualise a character that is for children??” wrote one Instagram user. Another said: “It’s Halloween and you’re just sexualizing a child’s character.”

Khloe Kardashian was quick to comment on Kendall’s outfit and said: “Sexiest Jess I’ve ever met.”

Kendall wore the outfit for a Halloween party in Los Angeles that she attended with a sister, Klylie, who went for a Bride of Frankenstein costume.

In the past few years, Kendall has opted for a racy corpse bride costume in 2021 and dressed up as Pamela Anderson in Barb Wire in 2020.

Kendall is currently dating NBA basketball player Devin Booker and shared a picture of the couple together on her Instagram stories recently to celebrate his 26th birthday.

The couple were first linked together in April 2020 but they only confirmed their romance on Valentine’s Day 2021. Devin accompanied Kendall to the wedding of her sister Kourney Kardashian to Travis Barker in May 2022.

The following month, the couple were rumoured to have broken up. However, they were ‘back together’ in the summer and in August, Kendall shared a photograph of them on holiday in Idaho.

They were then spotted sitting together in the front row at the Marini spring 2023 Ready to Wear runway show in New York fashion week.

Kendall has become one of the world’s most sought after models. She was only 14 when her mother Kris Jenner managed to get her signed to a top modelling agency.

It wasn’t long before modelling jobs for Kendall came flooding in. She started modelling for top fashion magazines and in 2014, Kendall walked in her first high fashion show for Marc Jacobs.
