Kim Kardashian looked stunning at the Time 100 Gala, Hollywood stars Ali Wong and Salma Hayek also attended

Kim Kardashian knows how to make an entrance and she certainly stole the show at the year's Time 100 Gala. The event that celebrates the most influential people of the year chosen by the publication was held at the Lincoln Centre's Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City on Wednesday.

The influencer wore an elegant fitted white silk gown with a tiny diamante clasp on the straps and a delicate fishtail train that showed off her perfectly honed hourglass figure. Kim accessorised her simple dress with layers of diamond necklaces, statement rings and a pearl clutch bag. She wore her ebony coloured down with natural waves and her makeup looked glowing.

Kim, who is best known for her family reality series The Kardashians, has also studied to become a lawyer. The Skims founder has used her platform to help people in the criminal justice system. In 2018 she even became president at the time Donald Trump and fought for the release of Alice Marie Johnson who had been incarcerated for over 21 years. 

Speaking at the Time 100 Summit Kim explained “I would be just as happy being an attorney full-time. The journey just really opened up my eyes so much. 

“I always joke with my mom — who's my manager — I say Kim K. is retiring, and I'm just going to be an attorney.” 

Also attending the star-studded event and one of the Time 100 to make the list was ‘Beef’ star Ali Wong. The comedian also opted for a white dress but was a nod to her heritage in a traditional Vietnamese gown.

It featured intricate detail, fringed sleeves and a feathered train. But it was the headpiece that really made a statement: the black headdress consisted of crystal beads and leaf design that fell over her face. 

Austin Butler was another who was honoured as one of this year's most influential people. The actor took his girlfriend Kaia Gerber - daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford - to the event. The actor looked his usual suave self in sharp suit and Kaia looked beautiful in a figure hugging backless grey dress.

Actress Salma Hayek looked incredible as she wore a blue satin dress with black lace detail that cinched in at the waist. Penelope Cruz wrote about Salma in Time magazine “As one of the first Latinas working in Hollywood, she’s opened so many doors for people who followed.”
