Kylie Jenner's triumphant 2022 while Eva Kaili's end of year has gone from bad to worse

PeopleWorld certainly has an eclectic mix of A-list names jostling for our hot list today. First up is Kylie Jenner who has certainly had an incredible 2022. January 2022 started off her year in style as she became the first woman to reach 300 million Instagram followers (she beat Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez). She now has 375 million followers on the social media platform.

Kylie also seems to be finishing 2022 off in style as she and her family recently gathered for their ‘work’ Christmas party. Can you imagine how fascinating it would have been to have secured an invite to that?

The dinner was in honour of the family’s business empire, which is quite different to how most families come together to celebrate their Christmas. I can’t wait to see how 2023 evolves for the Kardashian/Jenner crew. One thing for sure is that it certainly won’t be quiet and drama is certainly going to play a big part in it!

From Kylie Jenner to Bernard Arnault. I did tell you we had an eclectic mix today!

It is official. Bernard Arnault is now the World’s richest person and has taken over from Elon Musk. Like the Murdoch family, it would seem the Arnault clan are also similar to the fictional Roy family in Succession. It will be fascinating to see how the family dynamics will play out when Bernard retires. However, he is only 73 compared to Rupert Murdoch’s 91, so the family might have to wait some time for that to happen!

The final A-list name on our hot list today is Lionel Messi. His footballing display for Argentina against Croatia last night was nothing short of brilliant. Now that Argentina are through to the World Cup final, Lionel has said that this will be his last World cup game for Argentina. If that is true, it will be an iconic moment not only for Argentinian fans, but for all football fans.

Now who is featured on PeopleWorld’s not so hot list today…

First up is Eva Kaili. The Greek politician is currently under investigation for charges linked to Qatar. Although Eva has been a trailblazer in many ways as she was the first female to be Chair of the European’s Parliament’s Science and Technology Options as well as the youngest candidate standing in the 2004 national elections in Greece, things are currently not looking so good for her…

Next up is Stephen Bear. The Reality TV star has been found guilty of sex tape offences. The former Ex on the Beach and Celebrity Big Brother star denied all charges but was found guilty by unanimous verdicts. I think that says it all!

Today’s final not hot today is Dame Joanna Lumley. She has said that the “new fashion is to be a victim, a victim of something. It’s pathetic, we have gone mad,” she told Prospect magazine.

Oh dear Joanna, I personally completely disagree with the idea that women used to be “tougher.” The ones I know today are more than ‘tough’ enough.
