Love Island’s Gemma Owen’s split from Luca makes her ‘hot property’ for potential bachelors including Mason Mount and Romeo Beckham

Perhaps society magazine Tatler knew something we didn’t when Gemma Owen was named on their most ‘eligible list’? After all, she was still dating fellow Love Island star Luca Bish at the time.

In the interview with Tatler magazine, they asked her if “her head could be turned by a polo-playing aristocrat at the Little Black Book party?” Her reaction was to laugh out loud and say “Not for me...Sorry, lads.”

Gemma Owen was the first out of the couple to confirm the end of their relationship. She announced the news on her Instagram. “It wasn’t an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for us both right now,” she said.

Two hours later, Luca took to his Instagram to reveal that he would have “liked some time to process this privately.” He then made it clear that it was a “mutual decision” that they had taken earlier that day.

Gemma and Luca’s decision to break up comes just three months after the couple missed out on taking the Love Island crown. The pair did not attend ITV’s Palozza earlier in the week, a telling sign now in hindsight.

The couple were last photographed together celebrating firework night on November 5. They recently holidayed together (along with Gemma’s family) in Dubai.

Although Gemma has literally just split, People World have already put together their list of eligible bachelors for her. Take a look at our list below.

Mason Mount

Mason Mount may never have met Gemma Owen, but I think they are the perfect match. The fact that he was named Britain’s ‘most eligible’ bachelor by Tatler magazine (alongside Gemma) already gives them the perfect link.

Mason is of course currently away with the England football team for the World Cup in Qatar, so a date isn’t on the cards soon. However, that doesn’t mean it can’t happen in the near future. After all, Mason is very single after splitting from long term girlfriend Chloe Wealleans-Watts.

Like Gemma, Mason is incredibly busy and told Tatler that he had ‘never been to a pub’ other than to film an advert with Dorios for the Euros.

As Gemma is already used to a lavish lifestyle, I don’t think it would be too hard for her to adjust to dating a footballer.

Romeo Beckham

I can picture them now. Romeo Beckham, the son of legendary Manchester United and England star David Beckham, hand in hand with Gemma Owen, the daughter of legendary Liverpool and England star Michael Owen. Stranger things have happened. If the couple do date, remember you read it first at People World!

Avid fans of ‘Love Island’ will know too that Gemma spoke in the programme about knowing them. When Ekin-Su asked her if she liked David Beckham’s sons, Gemma replied, “well I went to nursery with his sons.” So, there is already a connection between them!

Romeo Beckham, 20, is also the perfect age for Gemma, who is 19-years-old. He also recently split up from model girlfriend Mia Regan after the couple reportedly called it quits due to their conflicting work schedules. However, I am sure Gemma will find a way of making it work if the pair do end up dating.

Jack Whitaker

Jack may not be a household name, but he is very well-known in the world of show jumping. He is also from a family of showjumpers and his father Michael was a British Olympian.

Jack has been described as a rising star in the sport and scored a win in the London Horse Show show jumping in 2021.

Jack is only 21 and is also an ideal age for Gemma. The pair also have a lot in common and have a shared love of horses. Gemma is an international dressage rider for Great Britain and took part in the U21 European Championships 2021.

Perhaps it won’t be long before we see Jack and Gemma horsing around?

Fabio Carvalho

Although the talk around Liverpool hotshot Fabio Carvalho is very much because he has quit Portugal’s Under 21 via text message and that he might switch his allegiance back to England, here at People World, we still think he might be the perfect match for Gemma.

For starters, he plays for Liverpool. If he turns up to pick Gemma up for a date at the family home, I am sure he and Michael will have plenty to talk about.

Like Gemma, Fabio also has big career ambitions and was compared to David Beckham by Liverpool favourite Phil Thompson. The midfielder excelled for Fulham last season before joining Liverpool this summer

Only time will tell if Fabio and Gemma meet and he can become her ‘match of the day.’

Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield is definitely the ‘wild card’ of the bunch. However, he has also made it to People World’s hot list today, so that of course means they are perfect for one another!

One thing Andrew and Gemma both have in common is that they are both very eligible! Andrew was dubbed ‘the sexiest actor alive’ by Glamour magazine, so he is definitely ‘hot.’ He also portrayed Peter Parker/Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man films. I mean, how cool would it be to say that you date Spider-Man? Or is that just me?

Gemma and Andrew may be from different worlds, but that is no reason for them not to embark on a romance? Perhaps People World needs to start matchmaking celebrities soon… What do you think?
