Although Doria Ragland has had various careers in her time (she has worked as a makeup artist, travel agent and social worker), her current career as a qualified yoga instructor seems to be a passion she shares with daughter Meghan.

The pair have been photographed together in the past carrying yoga mats and Meghan has reportedly even taken son Archie to yoga classes. Meghan spoke about yoga with Best Health Magazine for their May 2016 cover. “Yoga is my thing. My mom is a yoga instructor, and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven. I was very resistant as a kid but she said, “Flower, you will find your practice-just give it time.” In college, I started doing it more regularly.”

When Meghan Markle decided to fly to New York to watch her close friend Serena Williams play in the U.S Open, she reportedly dropped by to the studio Modo Yoga to attend a hot yoga class. According to reports, Meghan is believed to have taken the class alongside 60 other people.

As well as yoga, Meghan is also believed to be a fan of pilates too and reportedly attended Pilates classes at the studio Heartcore when she was living in London. Meghan is also reportedly a fan of running as well.

According to Vogue France, Meghan “mediates to free her mind from stress and negative vibes and has described running as being like a form of meditation as it relaxes her thoughts.”
