Will the royal family mark Meghan Markle's 42nd birthday as she celebrates at a restaurant with Prince Harry?

Meghan Markle .celebrated her 42nd birthday with Prince Harry at Italian restaurant Tre Lune in Montecito. The fashionable eatery is also a favourite of Ellen DeGeneres and Kourtney Kardashian. For the occasion, Meghan chose a strapless black and white striped dress by Posse, which she accessorised with strappy black sandals and her favourite Cult Gaia bag.

For her 41st birthday in 2022, the Duchess of Sussex decided to spend the day quietly. A spokesperson for her revealed that “Meghan Markle is spending the day celebrating with family and close friends.” 

When it came to members of the royal family wishing her a happy birthday, King Charles and Queen Camilla, the then Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall shared a message on their Clarence House social media accounts which said: “Happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!” followed by a balloon emoji.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, the then Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also made sure they marked Meghan Markle’s 41st birthday by wishing her well on their Instagram and Twitter. Their message said: “Wishing a happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!”

Although Prince Harry came back for King Charles’s coronation, Meghan Markle made the decision not to attend and Prince Harry rushed back after the ceremony in order to make it back for their son Prince Archie’s fourth birthday celebrations. However, King Charles did raise a toast to his grandson at the post-Coronation buffet. 

The royal family are likely to wish Meghan Markle a happy birthday on their social media accounts, but relations between brothers Prince Harry and Prince William do not seem to have improved since the coronation. 

After her date night with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle might want to continue her 42nd birthday celebrations by hosting a quiet celebration at their Montecito mansion, with the likes of her mother Doria Ragland and her good friend, Tyler Perry in attendance?
