Those of you who watch the Apple comedy series Loot will be familiar with the actress Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. The 32-year old actress has recently been revealed as Charlotte Tilbury’s latest beauty muse and is promoting her Pillow Talk range.

Charlotte Tilbury revealed the news about Michaela on her Instagram and was quick to enthuse about her admiration for her. "I have admired Michaela Jaé for years.

She is a trailblazing, iconic force of positive change, and she has THE most amazing energy and star power! She radiates JOY with everything she does!!"

Michaela has become renowned for breaking barriers down in Hollywood, so it is no surprise she has landed this coveted beauty contract.

Her breakout role was in Ryan Murphy’s hit series, Pose, which made history as it assembled the largest cast of trans performers ever to appear as regular characters on a scripted television series.

Elle magazine revealed that Michaela “not only garnered an Emmy nomination for her sizzling, nuanced performance as the HIV-positive trans woman Bianca Evangelista, but she also notably became the first transgender woman every to win a Golden Globe.”

Michaela is not new to starring in big campaigns as she previously starred in the Fall 2022 campaign for Calvin Klein.

She explained to Grazia magazine why she decided to work for the brand. “They’ve never disregarded anyone because of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, and being human.”
