Mike Tindall has shown he can do it all as he becomes the first Royal to appear in a pizza advertisement.

The former England rugby player, 43, and husband to the King’s niece, Zara, starred in a new Domino's advert with friend James Haskell, promoting their pizzas.

In the four-minute clip posted to Youtube, Mike can be seen organising a stack of pizzas for his friend who needed help in catering a “meet the baby party”.

The father-of-three offered to help James after the latter realised he had nothing prepared for the event which is set to start in an hour’s time.

Mike set off to Domino's to purchase pizzas at 50% off before jetting back to James’ home in a helicopter stating: “I’ve got you on this, I’ve got a man who owes me big, he owes me huge.”

Upon arrival at James’ house in the heli, the two former teammates engaged in conversation outside.

James said: “Tinds, what a boy, and in a heli - someone must have owed you a really big favour, but thank you brother, I appreciate it.”

To which Mike responded: “Standard, you know me mate, friends in high places. I always deliver for you, luckily Domino’s always delivers the food.”

Following the light-hearted banter, James teased Mike about whether or not he expected a medal for his efforts, in light of Mike’s recent admission that he hates wearing his three medals seen during the Queen’s mourning period.

Mike told his podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby that he doesn’t like to wear his MBE, Diamond and Platinum Jubilee medals as he feels medals are given as a military honour.

Therefore as Mike declined a medal in the pizza ad, alternatively suggesting an invite to the baby shower, James concluded by saying: “Yeah, I’d love to chief, but there’s already one big baby there and we don’t need another one, so do us a favour and jog on, will you.”

Viewers jokingly commented on the American eatery’s advert that James and Mike deserved Oscars for their performances after showing their acting talents in comparison to their skills on the rugby pitch.

Mike’s appearance in the pizza advert might not be the only chance for Royal and rugby fans alike to see the former England World Cup player on screen as he is tipped to follow in the footsteps of James Haskell.

Although producers haven’t confirmed the news, the Sun reported that the son-in-law of Princess Royal had signed up, as a source stated: “It’s a massive coup. Mike has had a box seat for some of the most important moments in royal history for generations. He is sure to be discreet, but his sheer presence means this series will be an absolute must-watch.”

From scoring tries to bush-tucker trials, keep your eyes peeled to see if Mike Tindall will be appearing on the ITV show.
