For those of you who have been waiting to watch Prince Harry’sHeart Of Invictus Netflix documentary, you will be pleased to read that all five episodes were released at 8am on August 30. In the docuseries, Prince Harry speaks about ‘unravelling’ after he returned to the UK after his tour of Afghanistan

Prince Harry said in Netflix’s ‘Heart of Invictus’ that he “didn’t have that support structure that network or that expert advice to identify actually want was going on with me.” He went on to say that “Unfortunately, like most of us the time you really consider therapy is when you are lying on the floor in the foetal position probably wishing you had dealt with some of this stuff previously.”

Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at the California premiere of his new Netflix docuseries which took place at a cinema in Chula Vista in San Diego county. Prince Harry, who was dressed in a cream blazer and white shirt, addressed the cheering crowd, and in footage posted on social media, said: “I wanted to say a huge thank you for coming out tonight. You guys get to see Heart of Invictus, which has been the last two years in the making, sooner than anybody else.”

The Daily Mail also reported that “In a Reel posted on Instagram by @bonnie_pham, the Duke of Sussex could be heard talking about the sacrifices that service personnel and their families make while serving.”

In the ‘Heart of Invictus’ docuseries, Prince Harry also talks about suppressing the trauma he experienced from losing his mother at the age of 12, and how returning from Afghanistan triggered it. “Look, I can only speak for my personal experience, my tour of Afghanistan in 2012 flying Apaches, somewhere after that there was an unravelling and the trigger for me was actually returning from Afghanistan,” he revealed.

Prince Harry then went on to say that the trauma of losing his mother at 12 “was never discussed.” He said that “I didn’t really talk about it-and I suppressed it like most youngsters would have done-but when it all came fizzing out I was bouncing off the walls, I was like ‘what is going on here?’ I am now feeling everything as opposed to being numb.”

At the beginning of the docuseries, Prince Harry is asked for his name and what he does by the interviewer. Prince Harry’s replies by saying “My name’s Harry" and “I’m a dad of two under three year olds, got a couple of dogs, husband, I’m founding patron of the Invictus Games Foundation.. There’s lots of hats that one wears, but I believe today is all about Invictus.”
