As Paris Hilton reveals how husband Carter Reum is 'smart,' a look at his net worth and family

When Paris Hilton and Carter Reum’s son was born, they had only just told their families about his arrival before they announced it on Instagram. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Paris reveals that Carter is ‘different from her usual type.’ “He’s not famous,” she said. “He’s smart. He comes from a nice family. He’s a good person,” she said. “It was the opposite of what I had been used to when I was looking for guys,” she revealed.

Carter Reum is a former Goldman Sachs investment banker who cofounded M13 in 2016, alongside his twin brother Courtney. According to their website, “The duo co-founded and sold VEEV, the spirits brand and co-authored the bestseller ‘Shortcut Your Startup.’

Not only is Carter’s brother Courtney a cofounder of M13, he too is a former Goldman Sachs investment banker. In November 2022 he attended the LACMA Art +Film Gala with his supermodel girlfriend Marcela Braga. The couple reportedly met in 2021 shortly before his brother Carter married Paris.

Carter and Courtney also have a younger sister, Halle Hammond, who is married to Oliver Hammond, a scion of the very wealthy Annenberg family. When it comes to Carter’s parents, Carter’s mother is Sherry Reum and his father was the late Robert Reum, who was chairman, president and chief executive officer of Chicago-based Amsted Industries, ranked one of the largest private companies in the United States by Forbes.

Although Carter Reum is reportedly worth about $40 million, this pales into significance when it comes to his wife Paris’s wealth, who is reported to be worth around $300 million. Paris Hilton comes from the famous Hilton family and is the sister of Nicky (married to James Rothschild ), daughter of Kathy and great granddaughter of Conrad Hilton.

On February 6, Paris shared a black and white photograph of her and Carter on Instagram in honour of his birthday. The caption read: “Happy birthday to the love of my life, my best friend and the most incredible father to our baby boy."

As well as having a baby with Paris Hilton, Carter Reum also has a secret daughter with former reality TV star, Laura Bellizzi. According to reports, he has only met his child once in ten years, but is believed to have provided for her since her birth.

When Paris Hilton shared the news that she had given birth on Instagram, Kim Kardashian was quick to congratulate her. Paris had received fertility advice from Kim and went to Beverly Hills Dr Andy Huang who is known as the Beverly Hills IVF 'magician.'
