Why Prince Harry sitting next to ‘good friend’ Jack Brooksbank at the King’s coronation makes perfect sense

It can’t have been easy for Prince Harry as he arrived at his father, King Charles’s coronation. Obviously the whole world was eagerly awaiting his arrival and even though he might not have outwardly shown it, he must have felt incredibly nervous. 

Speculation has been mounting about who he would sit next to and where exactly his seat would be. However, as he took his seat next to Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank, it made perfect sense. 

After all, out of all of the members of the royal family, it is Princess Eugenie and Jack who have provided both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the most support. Princess Eugenie. Before Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank and the couple were dating, they went out incognito in Halloween costumes before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship was made public. 

In their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the couple shared some photographs of their night out together. Meghan said of the Halloween party that “His cousin Eugenie, her boyfriend Jack and my friend Marcus were there too. It was so great, just silly fun.”

Footage of Princess Eugenie spending time with Prince Harry and Prince Archie was also shown in the final episode of the documentary. In February 2022, she was photographed attending the Super Bowl in California with him. 

As well as playing with Prince Archie on the beach, Princess Eugenie also enjoyed a bike ride with her first cousin, Prince Harry. In February of this year, she was spotted at the Frieze LA Preview in Santa Monica and it was thought she might have visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their Montecito home.

Although Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank were out last night at Oswald’s night club with other members of the royal family, perhaps Prince Harry was waiting for them at Frogmore Cottage for a quick catch up before the big day ahead?
