Although it has been reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘furious’ that they have been ‘evicted’ from Frogmore Cottage, the couple were all smiles as they stepped out for a date night at a private members club in Los Angeles.

The couple were photographed at private members club San Vicente Bungalows, which is reported to cost $4200 a year. According to GQ, “LA members’ club San Vicente Bungalows stakes its reputation on protecting that of its guests. A home from home for A-list actors, music legends and studio executives, it’s the truest expression of owner Jeff Klein’s philosophy: discretion is the better part of luxury.”

For their evening out, Meghan wore a camel Carolina Herrera cape coat over leather trousers and accessorised with a Christian Dior clutch bag and high heels. Prince Harry opted for a grey tweed blazer, a navy sweater, dark-wash jeans and coordinated navy trainers.

Despite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s seemingly ‘happy’ demeanour, the couple are said to have been ‘upset’ after they were informed they were to be ‘evicted' from Frogmore Cottage. According to Page Six, reps are reported to have confirmed to them that King Charles III has told the couple to leave their home in the UK. “'We can confirm the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage,' reps told us on Wednesday.”

So now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle no longer have a home in the UK, does this mean that this gives them a ‘legitimate’ reason now not to attend the coronation?

If the couple no longer have a ‘private’ UK home to go to, how for example would it work with their security? It was recently revealed that Prince Harry’s legal battle against the Home Office’s decision to cut his police protection in the UK has reportedly cost taxpayers almost £300,000.

There are of course increased concerns about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attending the coronation after the Prince’s Taliban claims in his memoir Spare. Coupled now with not having a ‘home’ in the UK, it is looking increasingly likely that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are unlikely to attend King Charles’s coronation in May.

Another factor why the couple might not attend the coronation that was muted before news of their Frogmore ‘eviction’ came to light was that their son Archie’s birthday falls on the same day as the coronation.

According to  Vanity Fair “In the seven weeks since Spare was released, there’s been little indication about the prospect of a family reunion during May’s coronation, though the invitations reportedly don’t go out until next week, but with news of the Sussexes’ departure from Frogmore, it’s looking increasingly unlikely that family peace will ensure before Harry and Meghan would need to make their travel plans.”
