Prince Harry opens up about how Meghan has given him 'freedom' in new Netflix docu-series while Jennifer Lawrence faces criticism over 'action hero' comment

The day has finally arrived, and to be expected, the Harry and Meghan Netflix docu-series is BIG news. Without question, the couple are everywhere right now, Meghan was top of our hot list yesterday and it is now Prince Harry’s turn today.

It is hard to believe that it was only five years ago that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement. At the time, the whole world was captivated by the couple and in the interview, Harry said that the 'stars were aligned.'

I will never forget the pain etched in Harry’s face as he was forced to walk behind his mother’s coffin. When he opened up to Angela Levin in Newsweek magazine, Harry said that, “I don’t think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances. I don’t think it would happen today.”

Harry has revealed in the Netflix docuseries that Meghan reminds him a lot of his late mother and how Meghan has allowed him to have the ‘freedom’ that his childhood was robbed of.

Next up on our hot list today is Ukraine’s Volodymr Zelensky who has been named as Time Magazine’s 2022 Person of the Year. They also made reference to ‘the spirit of Ukraine’ in the award. The magazine’s editor revealed that the decision was ‘the most clear-cut in memory.’

From the world of international politics to the world of entertainment. Shania Twain is hot news at the moment. At the People’s Choice Awards, she switched up the song’s iconic ‘Brad Pitt’ line in the smash ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much' and used Ryan Reynold’s name instead.

The country singer, who has not been in the limelight for several years, also debuted a new ‘pink hair’ look at the awards. Many did not instantly recognise Shania due to her new hair which she also partially covered up in a hood, which was part of her leopard-print ensemble.

Now who is gracing PeopleWorld’s not so hot list today. First up is Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence, not someone who has featured on here before. So why, do I hear you ask?

Well, Jennifer is facing criticism after a comment she made in Variety that before Hunger Games, ‘nobody had ever put a woman in the lead of an action movie because it wouldn’t work.’ Mmm Jennifer, not sure you are right about that. How about Sigourney Weaver and Angelina Jolie to name a couple?

Next up on PeopleWorld’s not so hot list is Cheryl. She is in the news at the moment as she has just been cast in the lead role of 2:22 A Ghost Story.

Cheryl must of course be buzzing at the moment, or maybe not? She is facing backlash for a different reason to Jennifer, but it is still criticism! People are asking why she has been cast in the lead role despite not having much acting experience. They do have a point, but only time will tell if she proves them wrong.

Last up today is Madonna. Oh dear Madonna. I know you are all about making a statement but I can barely recognise you in your latest Instagram photo. Oh dear oh dear. Do you really need to dress in bondage gear and bite down on a riding crop to get attention? You are Madonna after all!
