What is the name of Princess Eugenie’s new baby?

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have announced that they have become parents for the second time. She said on her Instagram: "Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1bs. He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already."

Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have an older son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank who was born on February 9 2021 at London’s Portland Hospital. In January of this year, she announced that she and her husband were expecting another baby by sharing a photograph on Instagram of August kissing her bump.

She also wrote on the post: ”We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.” 

Princess Eugenie’s mother Sarah Ferguson posted her reaction to her daughter’s pregnancy news by writing “Granny heaven” followed by a heart emoji. In recent months, a heavily pregnant Princess Eugenie enjoyed the celebrations for her uncle, King Charles’s coronation in May.

As well as attending the ceremony and concert, she was also seen taking part with her sister Princess Beatrice in the Coronation Big Lunch.

At the coronation, Princess Eugenie was seen catching up with her cousin Prince Harry who attended the ceremony without his wife Meghan Markle. Prince Harry was seated next to Jack Brooksbank. According to the Daily Mail, “As he (Prince Harry) walked into the Abbey, Harry said to Jack and Eugenie: “Wow, amazing look at the bump!’”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle actually announced that she was pregnant with Prince Archie on Princess Eugenie’s wedding day in 2018.  Although Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack are close friends with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to Sky News, “Princess Eugenie was upset when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose her wedding day to announce they were expecting a child, a new biography of the couple claims. The princess ‘told friends she felt the couple should have waited to share the news’ a source said.”
