Meghan Markle must have breathed a sigh of relief after the defamation case against her was dismissed. But it appears this family feud may not be over just yet.
Although the judge ruled to dismiss the defamation case, Samantha Markle and her legal team plan to refile an 'even stronger' case against the Duchess of Sussex.

Hide AdEstranged half-sister Samantha sued Meghan for ‘defamation and humiliation’ over comments made in the 'Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan' book. Samantha claimed the Duchess “demonstrably false and malicious lies” to a “worldwide audience” in the book and the TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.
She also claimed that she had been subject to ‘humiliation and hatred’ after Meghan’s comments about being raised as an only child. United States District Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell dismissed Samantha’s claims from the book.
Just when you thought it was all over Samantha’s lawyer has confirmed they will refile a ‘stronger case’ after the judge has given them 14 days to amend their complaint.
It appears the legal team will focus on Meghan Markle’s comments made in the Oprah Winfrey interview.

Hide AdIn a statement written by Samantha’s attorney Jamie Sasson said “This upcoming amendment will address certain legal issues that are related to our claims for defamation as it specifically relates to the Oprah interview on CBS. They added how they “look forward to presenting an even stronger argument for the defamation and losses that our client has had to endure.”
The amended claims may also include comments from the Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan that followed the couple's relationship and leaving their Royal duties.
