Our friends across the pond are celebrating Thanksgiving together again by devouring turkey and pumpkin pie, as well as sharing their gratitude for family and friends after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now, when I hear about the holiday of Thanksgiving - which takes place on the fourth Thursday of November each year - I immediately jump to not only the characters of Friends playing American football or Joey getting a turkey stuck on his head, but also of influencers showing off their beautiful table displays.

However, while it may be a day of thanks, it is important to remember that not everyone can celebrate in the same fashion.

This year, many influencers are making it a priority to give to those less fortunate on the last Thursday before December.

Kathy Hilton

From hospitality to hospitals: Kathy Hilton is linked to one of the largest hotel empires in the world, and the 63-year-old is continuing to prioritise hospitality and make sure that people are taken care of this Thanksgiving.

However, Kathy was not turning down beds or delivering room service to her hotel guests but organising a party at her Bel-Air home to collect donations for children while launching her new sleepwear line.

Famous faces including Kris Jenner attended the soiree and brought gifts that would be donated to the Children’s Los Angeles Hospital.

The Kardashians

Speaking of the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, the famous family helped a local non-profit in Pasadena this American holiday after hearing that a shelter needed food donations.

Kim, Kris, Kendall and the rest of the tribe donated hundreds of turkeys, 450 pies, and other important ingredients to make nearly 4,000 meals for the homeless.

The non-profit organisation called Union Station Homeless Services thanked the family personally after helping to fuel their annual ‘Dinner in the Park’ celebration.

James Charles

Youtube and internet personality James Charles may be known for his make-up tutorials, but he also made up plenty of hot meals for those who needed them.

James was serving mash potatoes and gravy on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday [23 November] with the L.A Mission

James appeared next to many television stars while giving back ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, such as the cast of Vanderpump Rules.
