If you have just finished watching the Harry & Meghan docu series on Netflix, you would have seen a lot of Tyler Perry.
He is according to his own website Tyler Perry, “the mastermind behind 17 feature films, 20 stage plays, seven television shows, a New York Times bestselling book, Tyler has built an empire that has attracted audiences and built communities, from the Tyler Perry Studios home base in Atlanta, Georgia, throughout the world.”

Hide AdWow, those are some achievements! Tyler is also the owner of the incredible $18m Los Angeles home that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stayed in when they left Canada for the States in 2020.
According to House Beautiful, “the home was built in 2012, eight years after Perry reportedly purchased the property in 2004 for $4.3 million, which is a pretty good deal considering the dwelling is currently worth $18 million, according to the country assessor.”
It would seem that Tyler is not only a media mogul, but pretty savvy when it comes to property too. So, how much is he worth?

Since lending Meghan Markle and Prince Harry his house, Tyler Perry has become great friends with the couple and it was recently revealed that he is godfather to their daughter Lilibet.
Although Tyler is very successful, he recently revealed he has struggled with mental health issues.
He revealed this after the tragic death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, who was a former DJ and co-executive producer for the Ellen DeGeneres Show. In a recent post on his Instagram, he said that he wanted to come on “to talk to any of you who are going through hard times.”
