Italy has reportedly invited tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg to stage their ‘cage-fight’ at Rome’s Colosseum - one of the seven wonders of the world.

According to TMZ-Sport an Italian government official invited the Twitter and Facebook owners to fight at the 2,000-year-old venue that was once the battleground for many gladiators during Roman times. The Minister reportedly reached out to both men and they were both on board.

Fun fact from the Colosseum website; ‘it is believed that as many as 400,000, between gladiators, slaves, convicts, prisoners, and myriad other entertainers, perished in the Colosseum over the 350 or so years during which it was used for human blood sports and spectacles.’

Talk of a cage- fight first came about after Elon tweeted Mark saying that he was ‘up for a cage match’ if Mark was too. To which the Meta owner and Jiu-Jitsu champion replied ‘send me the location.’

So of course that got us thinking, what other venues or wonders of the world would we like to go to and watch the billionaires fight?

Of course you think of a big fight and the first place that obviously comes to mind is the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. The lavish venue has hosted some of the biggest fights in history including Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield (1997), Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De La Hoya (2008) and Floyd Mayweather vs Canelo Alvarez (2013).

Another obvious venue would be Madison Square Garden which was host for boxing legends such as Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier and Connor McGregor vs Eddie Alvarez or London’s O2 Arena which was the venue for Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko.

Many fighters have headed to Saudi Arabia so the Diriyah Arena in Diriyah could be another option. The venue was the setting for the Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight which had over 4.4 million viewers watching. Wonder how many would watch the two biggest tech execs fight it out?

But the Colosseum of course is one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ - so we could even see the Musk vs Zuckerberg fight at the Great Pyramid of Giza or it could be the ‘Clash of the Titans’ at the Acropolis of Athens.

At the rate SpaceX is growing, Elon could decide to host the fight himself on the moon. No matter where it ends up we are sure everyone will be watching what will be the biggest fight in the world.

The question is who will you be betting on to win?
