French daredevil Remi Lucidi has plunged to his death from the Tregunter Tower complex in Hong Kong after reportedly getting ‘trapped’ outside the top-floor penthouse. The Tregunter Towers is a complex of three residential buildings, which are situated on The Peak on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. The three buildings are called Tregunter 1, Trengunter 2 and Tregunter 3.

According to the South China Morning Post, “A source familiar with the case earlier said Lucidi, who used the name ‘Remi Enigma’ on his social media pages, was last seen alive knocking on a penthouse window on the 68th floor of Tregunter Tower at about 7.30pm on Thursday.”

The article went on to say that “A frightened domestic helper in the flat called police for help when she discovered the man at the window.”

Remi Lucidi posted a photograph of Hong Kong on his Instagram account a week ago, and captioned the photograph “Hong Kong” followed by a heart emoji. One person wrote: “My deepest condolences. Your friends brought me here, even though I didn’t know you. To hear this affects me nevertheless. Fly high king.”

Remi Lucidi’s social media showed that he attempted stunts around the world in such places as Ukraine, Dubai and Portugal. The New York Post reported that “A source close to the incident revealed that police found Lucidi’s camera at the scene and it contained videos of his other death-defying acts.”

Remi Lucidi had been reportedly staying at a hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui before he plummeted to his death from Tregunter Tower.
