To call Liz Truss’ time as UK Prime Minister over in a hot minute would be an understatement, but that does not mean that she is no less entitled to have a resignation honours list, akin to one that polarised the political community when Boris Johsnon’s very own list was brought to attention earlier this year.

Despite only remaining in office for 45 days, in which her budget caused the UK economy to drop steeply leading to firings, resignations and ultimately her own stepping down from the top job in the land, reception to some of the names on her list seems not to have ignited a political firestorm than the one her predecessor caused. In fact, The Guardian reports that two of the names on the list are "humiliated" by the prospect of being named on the resignation honours list,

Current UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak seems to think that, at least he has hinted at rubber stamping her list in a recent series of questions from senior MP’s in Parliament on Tuesday. t Sunak told MPs that under existing conventions, previous PM's are "entitled to resignation honours" which go through "the normal vetting process.”

“I follow what I understand and believe to be the long-standing convention of forwarding those names to the Palace for clearance after they have been through the vetting process. And without any active involvement, engagement or interference in that process," he stated, followed by quipping "It's not something I'm focused on,” when asked if he too would be providing a list once “ousted” from Number 10.

So as the House of Lords appointments commission vet the list, who are some of the names that are said to be featured on Liz Truss’ resignation honours list, and do you agree with some of the names compared to those on Boris Johnson’s list?
