According to Sky News, “Nicola Sturgeon is in custody after being arrested in connection with the investigation into the Scottish National party’s finances, police say.” The BBC reported that “Police confirmed a 52-year-old woman was taken into custody on Sunday and is being questioned by detectives.”
Sky News also reported that “Mrs Sturgeon’s husband, the party’s former chief executive Peter Murrell was previously arrested as part of the probe along with ex-treasurer Colin Beattie. Both men were subsequently released without charge pending further inquiries.”

Hide AdOnly yesterday Nicola Sturgeon shared a photograph on her Twitter that she had successfully passed her car theory test. She tweeted the caption: “Step one complete” followed by an emoji of a tick and a car.
As well as receiving tweets of congratulations others shared comments such as “I didn’t realise she didn’t drive… But why even the need to share that she passed a test that millions of us do all the time?
According to reports, Nicola Sturgeon began driving lessons in March after resigning as First Minister. She received 50 out of 50 in the multiple choice part, and 56 out of 75 in the hazard perception part.
