Singer-songwriter Rod Stewart has publicly spoken about how she still supports Boris Johnson - despite a damning report finally condemning Boris Johnson in regard to lockdown parties at Downing Street. The 78-year-old shared his thoughts on live TV as the UK took in the report's blunt conclusions.

Just a matter of days after he quit as an MP, Boris Johnson was found by the Privileges Committee to have misled Parliament on five different accounts.

A 108-page and 30,000 word report - produced by the committee led by Harriet Harman MP - has led to counterarguments by Boris Johnson allies who say Harman herself is guilty of breaking lockdown rules.

And while many such as Piers Morgan have reacted to the report but further condemning the former Prime Minister, Rod Stewart seems unmoved as a fan of Boris.

Speaking on Sky News today (June 15), he said: "Well, I was and still am a bit of a fan of Boris because I think he’s got wonderful charisma.

"But you know what you were getting with Boris, you know, so it’s not unusual.

"He’s told a few porkies over the years so I’m not surprised. He’s in big trouble now.

"How’s he going to make a comeback? I don’t know maybe he should talk to me. I’ve been making comebacks for years."

While Rod Has shared his honest thoughts here, we here at PeopleWorld are sure many will disagree following headlines around the long-awaited report.
