Ahead of these thrilling matchups, Betway conducted fresh research to uncover the most popular NFL teams in the UK, based on Average Google Search volume.

It seems Taylor Swift’s high-profile relationship with Chiefs' star Travis Kelce has played a significant role in this surge with the Kansas City Chiefs emerged as the most popular NFL team. The side, which also includes Patrick Mahomes, receive 75,500 searches on average each month placing them in top spot as the most searched NFL team.

The Los Angeles Chargers are in close second with 74,000 while the Dallas Cowboys complete the top three with 60,500 searches. The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers also feature in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Fans concerned following Swift no-show

Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, continued to struggle in Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons as he delivered another below par performance.

While the Chiefs recorded a 22-17 home win to extend their unbeaten record to 3-0, Kelce struggled to make an impact in the game with the American finished with four receptions for 30 yards.

This performance is part of an ongoing trend, as Kelce’s 30-yard showing was nearly his best of the season so far—just shy of the 34 yards he recorded against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.

Failing to surpass even that modest total has fuelled growing concerns over Kelce's decline in the early part of the season. Adding to the narrative, Kelce’s lacklustre presence on the field was underscored by the absence of his biggest supporter and partner, Taylor Swift.

The pop icon was noticeably missing from the stands at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, with NBC’s broadcast showing no signs of her presence, and no reports of her attending the game.

Sunday night marked the first Chiefs game this season that Swift has not attended. The superstar was previously seen at Arrowhead Stadium, cheering for Kelce during the Chiefs’ wins over the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals in the opening weeks. It has left fans concerned over a potential break-up between the pair.
