A1M traffic: Crash sees three miles of queues in near Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City

Lanes are closed on a motorway after a collision.
National Highways says that the emergency services and traffic officers are en route to the scene of the crash, which is on the southbound A1M in Hertfordshire.
It’s between Junction 5 for Welwyn Garden City and Junction 4 for Hatfield, and there are currently about three miles of queues.
