Traffic is being held on the M56 due to an overturned vehicle
Traffic is currently being held on the M56 due to an overturned vehicle. National Highways said there are approximately 30-minute delays with three miles of congestion on approach between Junction 7 (Bowden) and Junction 6 (Manchester Airport) due to the incident.
Emergency services, including the police and ambulance are on the scene, with National Highways Traffic Officers assisting with traffic management.
