Marston Green stabbing: Teenager, 17, killed next to Solihull primary school as police arrest teenager over murder

A teenage boy has been stabbed to death near a primary school in Solihull as police launch a murder probe.

The 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on Station Road in Marston Green, Solihull at around 6.20pm on Tuesday evening (October 29). Emergency services, including police and paramedics, attended the scene with ambulance staff treating the teenager for his injuries, however he passed away at the scene.

Police quickly launched a murder investigation following his death, A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody as the probe continues.

Supt Wayne Carter, of Solihull Police, said: "We know people will understandably be concerned and we will be in the area conducting enquiries throughout the day. We will have extra officers in the area over the coming days and I would encourage anyone with any information, or concerns, to get in touch."
