Parrys Lane: Tragedy as man dies after wall collapses on him while working in Bristol

Avon and Somerset Police reported that officers were alerted by ambulance staff shortly before 1pm on Wednesday, September 4, at Parrys Lane in the Stoke Bishop area.

In a statement, the police said, "The man sadly lost his life while working, and we are working closely with the Health and Safety Executive as part of our investigation into the incident."

The man's next of kin have been informed, and the force added: "Our thoughts are with them during this incredibly difficult time."
