Three teenagers have been arrested after a man was fatally shot in Walsall.

West Midlands Police received a report just before 5pm on Monday (July 8) that a man had been shot in Well Lane. The man, who was in his 20s, died at the scene while another suffered non-life threatening injuries.

One man, aged 18, and two 17-year-olds remain in custody following the incident, said the police, as they continue with their enquiries. The police are also conducting a stop and search in the area under Section 60 - which gives the police powers to stop and search people and vehicles without the need to have reasonable grounds for a set period.
