A stunning supermoon has brightened the night skies across the world - from Somerset to the Champs-Elysees.
The full moon in April is also known as the “pink moon” as it is named after pink flowers, known as phlox, which bloom in the springtime.
However, there was no noticeable difference in colour, as the name might suggest.
The celestial event happened overnight and was at its biggest and brightest at around 4.30am in the UK.
Here we take a look at some of the supermoon images overnight from across the world.
