Content Creators
The inclusion of content creators at weddings has exploded in popularity in the last 12 months to take the top spot amongst the biggest wedding trends for 2025, thanks to a 586% increase* in searches for the social media role.
While content creation is not a new concept when it comes to social media, it’s certainly the new vendor on the block in the wedding industry. Wedding content creators are a service you can hire for your wedding to capture candid content, usually for your social channels.

They should not be a replacement for a wedding photographer or videographer, but they can work alongside them to provide even more memories from your big day.

The beauty of what we do is that we capture moments that are raw and real, moments that might otherwise be forgotten, and that’s something couples can cherish for years to come.
Bright Bold Blooms
As the popularity of neutrals and dried floral arrangements peters out, couples are instead looking for a colour pop for their wedding flowers - and 2025 is all about bright and bold statements.

Pretty pastel bouquets and neutral toned flowers are long gone as searches for ‘colourful bridal bouquet’ surge by a whopping 267% compared to this time last year.
Couples are now looking for colour and chaos, with clashing arrangements. According to Pinterest, searches for ‘pink and orange flowers’ are up 200% and there’s a 300% increase in people seeking ‘vibrant wedding flowers’ inspo too.

Bright and bold blooms evoke a sense of joy and optimism, making them a perfect choice for weddings as couples seek to convey a celebratory atmosphere on their special day. These vibrant flowers not only add visual impact but also enhance the overall mood of the event, reflecting the love and excitement shared by the couple and their guests.”
Flirty Floral Fashion
When it comes to wedding fashion, nearlyweds will be opting for short and sweet options in 2025. Searches for ‘mini wedding dresses’ have rocketed by 233% as people look to get their legs out on their big day, while interest in ‘floral wedding dresses’ is also up 46% this year.
As traditional wedding fashion transforms to suit modern couples, a short bridal gown is a great way to retain that ‘wedding’ feel but in a more playful way. It’s also a great option if you’re having a separate legal ceremony, or looking to change on the day as you can dramatically mix up your look.
Bridal boutique owner Charlotte Mills from Manchester says: “Comfort is key! I think Brides want to be comfortable and enjoy the evening for their wedding without being restricted in a long gown. A mini dress is also the perfect opportunity to have a little fun and choose something which really reflects your personality.

Whether it’s a garden ceremony or a chic, rustic affair, these dresses effortlessly blend with their surroundings. Brides love the way floral details complement the venue or location of the wedding bringing a cohesive look. The dress becomes part of the experience, adding that touch of natural elegance to the celebration.”

Searches for ‘wedding video’ are up 171%, inline with the introduction and popularity of documentary-style wedding films, and user-generated videography and photography apps.
Keen to not miss anything happening at their weddings, couples are exploring all options when it comes to snapping moments from their days. “You won’t want to miss a moment on your big day - however you can’t be everywhere at once, so having a photographer, videographer and a content creator will allow you to capture as much as possible, and by using a wedding photo app you’ll get a guests-eye view of your wedding experience.”
