Emeli Sandé UK tour 2022: Brighter Days dates, venues, how to get tickets and when is singer’s new album out?
Internationally-renowned songstress Emeli Sandé MBE will be releasing a new album and returning to the stage in 2022.
Her new album, called Let’s Say for Instance, will be released on Friday, May 6, and her UK ‘Brighter Days’ tour will begin ten days later on Monday, May 16.

Who is Emeli Sandé?
Emeli Sandé, whose real name is Adele Emily Sandé, is a Scottish singer-song writer who first rose to fame in 2009.
Her debut album Our Version of Events, was released three years later. It has sold over 5.4 million copies to date, and was the biggest selling album in the UK of 2012 and the second biggest selling of 2013, and is certified platinum eight times in the UK and Ireland.
Emeli followed it with critically acclaimed Long Live The Angels in 2016, the Kingdom Coming EP in 2017 and Real Life in 2019.
With a total of 19 million singles sold including three UK No. 1 singles, 6 million albums and four BRIT awards, Emeli was awarded an MBE for Services to Music in 2018.
What can I expect from the new album?
Emile has said that fans can expect un ‘uplifting experience’ when listening to her latest album.
In an interview with Variety, she said: “I’m so proud of this album and can’t wait to release it. I’ve felt free to express myself more naturally both lyrically and musically in this album and my wish is that it will be an uplifting experience for each listener and that they will get to know me on a much deeper level.”
The album, which is her first release on an independent label, features current hit single ‘Brighter Days’, and previous singles ‘Look What You’ve Done’ and ‘Family’, alongside other new music.
What are the tour dates and how can I get tickets?
To celebrate the release of Let’s Say For Instance, Emeli will be going on tour in the UK in May 2022.
The tour will see Emeli performing both with her full band, as well as select solo piano show dates, beginning on Monday, May 16 in Glasgow, before journeying through Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, London, and then heading off to Europe in June.

Emile Sandé is not the only Scottish artist who will be heading out on tour this year. Lewis Capaldi is also performing a headline tour later in 2022, and he’s expected to release his second album too.
